My Story

In the late 1970's living in the Bay Area of California I discovered my love of creating. Growing up in that area, at that time in history it was my destiny to become an artist. I remember as a kid asking my mom if I could go out and play with the hippies. It was a great way to grow up!

I have spent the past 40 years traveling all over the United States and Europe creating and selling my wares at art festivals, music festivals, flea markets, Grateful Dead shows, Motorcycle Rallies and everything in between.

I've been a gypsy soul for most of my life. Living in the bay area of California, England, Italy, Southern New Mexico, Taos, Arizona and Vermont. And now the Black Hills of South Dakota.

I incorporate my love of the natural world and respect for cultural differences in the high quality jewelry, hats and art that I make. Exploring different cultures, their customs and theology broaden my sense of the world and the beautiful people who live in it. I feel the work that I do helps people find a little peace in a chaotic world.

The materials I use are as diverse as the cultures I draw inspiration from. The techniques I use are cold joining, lapidary, etching, weaving, wire wrapping, stringing, metal stamping, collage, assemblage, painting, drawing, and what ever is needed to bring to life the vision in my head! The materials are semi precious stones, glass, leather ,found objects, metals, organic materials, beads, wood and handmade paper.
