Holidays

The wheel is turning, Winter is almost here. Thanksgiving, Solstice, Christmas, New Years. For me as well as many artists we try to balance these holidays with one of the busiest times of the year.

The never ending balance act. I have two more commitments before I take a breather. This next week I will be in El Paso for the Las Artistas Art & Fine Craft Show.

Time: Saturday – 10 am to 5 pm Sunday – 10 am to 4 pm

Location: Epic Railyard Event Center 2201 E Mills Ave. (directions) El Paso, Texas 79901

Cost: $7, free for children under 18 FREE Valet Parking

I have participated in this show a few times in the past and it has always been a very well juried show. I'm always impressed with the quality of work. I will be at booth number 51.

After Thanksgiving starting on November 24 everyday until Christmas Eve December 24, I will be set up at Vicki's Eatery.

This will be my second year at Vicki's Eatery. New this year I will have a large selection of my customized vintage hats as well as lots of beautiful jewelry.

Vicki's Eatery is located in downtown Silver City on the corner of Market and Texas streets. I will be set up during the daytime hours. Come by and have a bite to eat and do some holiday shopping!

I've been having a really good time with these hats. They are old, sometimes vintage, sometimes antique, dusty dirty, long forgotten. I bring them back to life and find them a good home.

So that's the news for this week. If your in the southwest come by and see me.If not you can always find lots of great work on my shop at ginnywolfstudio.com.

If there is anything you have been thinking about purchasing please be aware that most of what I do is one of a kind and when the shows start they go pretty quick.

I will be posting all the hats on my website shop in December. If your interested in any of these you can always contact me for the details.

Last night I watched a documentary about Lowell George of Little feet. I've always been a big fan. I'll leave you with this classic.

Blessings
