Ginny Wolf
Thank You

Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.~ A.A. Milne

Its hard to believe that 2017 is almost over. The time just flies by anymore. This year has been good to me. I've made lots of new friends and found a new home.

Starting in the spring of 2018 I will be opening up Ginny Wolf Studio at Cheyenne Crossing in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I am very excited and terrified all at the same time!

This was the biggest blessing in 2017. Andy and I have wanted to move from Silver City for awhile, we just didn't know where. Then this opportunity presented itself this summer. A huge thank you to David Brueckner for believing in me!

Thank you to Greg and Maryanne , owners of Vicki's Eatery for giving me a place to show my wares for the holiday season. I have known these two for several years now and they are the best!

I am grateful for the 2 awards I won this past year. Its always great to be acknowledged for your hard work. I'm in a really good place creatively. In my younger years my fear was, what if I run out of ideas? Now there's not enough time in the day to do everything I want to do.

This past year I started refurbishing old hats and making hat bands. Not only are they fun to do I have been selling quite a few! There is something really wonderful about bringing something back to life and then watching it go to the right home.

As if making jewelry, and hats is not enough, I've been playing with leather these past few months. I dusted off all the old leather working tools and started with hat bands and cuffs.

I figured starting out small I would build up confidence. Knowledge of the leather. Now I'm on to bags and maybe even clothes! I would also like to make motorcycle accessories.

I havn't started listing the bags yet. Still working on a body of work. I've been exploring different stitching and dying techniques. Kind of like the mad scientist in the kitchen!

Most of all I am thankful to all of you beautful people who support me! If it wasn't for you I wouldnt be able to do what I love and make a living. I am constantly floored by the generosity and love everyone shows me.

I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, 'Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again. ~ Lewis Carroll
