Cheyenne Crossing

Six years ago while driving home from a great time at Sturgis I saw this little café store and thought ....hum......I bet I would do pretty good there selling my jewelry during the rally. When I got home I contacted David the owner and the next summer set up for the first time.

I met some great people that first year, and every year after.

Located in the northern Black Hills of South Dakota,Cheyenne Crossing was established as a stagecoach stop in 1878 for the Deadwood Stage Coach from Cheyenne Wyoming to Deadwood South Dakota.

This place is magic. Cheyenne Crossing is at the North entrance to Spearfish Canyon. Beautiful doesn't even start to describe this area.

Everywhere you look there is green and water! After20 years in the desert this is a welcome site! This past summer I was offered an opportunity to have a little shop at the Crossing. It took me about 2 seconds to say yes!

So this is the before picture. I can't wait to get in there and do my witchy, artsy, thing! Create a place for lots of positive vibes! One half will be a studio. The other side a display area for everything I make as well as a few surprises.

If you find yourself in the Black Hills please come by and see me. Best carrot cake this side of the Mississippi! You can also find out more at www.cheyennecrossing.org or just come on out!

Here's some of the local talent from Rapid City. I saw these guys last summer at Halley's store in Keystone. Can't wait to see them again!

Have a great week and I'll see you in the hills!
