Black Hills Bliss

I've been settling into my new home these past few weeks. I guess I'm still in the "Is This Real ?" stage.

The shop is coming around nicely. It takes a bit to get to know your space. I've been open almost 2 months already. Its amazing how fast time goes. I will have to try to figure out how to do a video for the blog.

Its not just the shop though. Its the energy of the place itself. Cheyenne Crossing was founded as a stagecoach stop. It still is really. All kinds of different people come here.

In these past few weeks I've met people from Italy, France, Australia, Canada, Japan, Mongolia and all over the United States. I've met hippies, and bikers, rednecks and sundancers, old people, youngsters and lots of great dogs!

The thing I am noticing across the board is that everyone is blissed out! Even when its pouring down rain and there's a 2 hour wait to get food.

This place reaffirms my belief that when you take away politics, people are just people, and I do believe there are more good people in the world than bad. Yes I am a diehard optimist. Just spreading the love.

In between visiting I've been making some great jewelry. Not doing very well keeping up with the blog though. I imagine I will get caught up eventually.

I have put some new listings on the shop page. They come and go quickly these days.

If you find yourself in the Black Hills this summer come by and see me. I'm open everyday from 8:30 til 4:00 except Tuesday's. Here's one of my favorites from the B52's.

Have a great week my friends!
