Grand Opening
And suddenly you just know Its time to start something new and trust the magic of new beginnings.

Four months ago Andy and I took a huge leap of faith and moved to the Black Hills of South Dakota. We opened up a little studio and gallery space at Cheyenne Crossing.

I'm finally at a place where I can say it's time for our grand opening! This Saturday August 25 from 2 - 4 we'll have live music and appetizers to celebrate my little shop in the Black Hills. Those of you who know me know how much I love a good party! Usually involving food and music and sometimes dressing up......

It's been an awesome summer. Better than I had imagined. Sometimes when you believe in something strong enough everything falls into place.

We've settled in nicely. Found a great house out on a beautiful country road. Bella is in heaven. She has not one, but several dirt roads and pastures to run in everyday. We have a big picture window in our front room and it's like having deer TV.

Life is good. The other day I was watching a documentary about Native Californian basket weavers. They talked about how there environment influenced the work they did. I could really relate. I went to work the next day and made these two cuffs.

These are made with oil tanned leather, puka shells and a white tail deer antler button. I'll be listing these two beauties next week. That is if I still have them......

I've listed some other new work on the website and will continue to in the coming weeks. We had a really busy summer. It was hard to keep up. A good problem I know!

I'll leave you with a video of one of our past celebrations in Silver City. This was at the Women's Parade a few years ago. An oldie but a goodie!
Hope to see you this weekend! Blessings!
