I watched a great documentary on PBS the other day. It was called Sacred ~ Milestones of Sacred Life. This time of year its easy to get caught up in the chaos. Its good to take a deep breath and remember the more important things in life. It doesn't matter if you celebrate Solstice or Christmas or Kwanza or Hanukkah.

Never one to sit still I have been working on a new line of repurposed and custom leather clothing these past few weeks. Its something I have been thinking about for awhile now and finally jumped in with both feet!
It started with this custom vest I made for my friend Jim ( Hi Jim!) He sent me his favorite vest and I made the pattern from that. I love the way it turned out!
Sometimes I think the universe conspires to make things happen for me! A lovely friend gave me her stash of leathers and then another new friend gave me a bunch of beautiful pheasant feathers. So of course this happened.
It just kind of went on from there...... Now I am totally obsessed. I want to have a really nice line for next summer to add to the jewelry and hats. Who needs sleep. Once I have a few made I will post them on the website and of course have them at my studio out at Cheyenne Crossing.
Its actually a nice balance between the three. Years ago a friend who was a numerologist did my chart and my special number turned out to be three. The number for creativity.
Enjoy these winter days. Love your family and friends. Eat good food, take long walks and always be grateful. As usual I will leave you with some beautiful music.
