I probably sound like a broken record at times. These days are so full of negative energy, I feel the need to double up on compassion and kindness! So here's a little positive energy sent your way!

The past few months have flown by. We've been all over the Southwest. Kind of on a mission to find a winter home. Its funny sometimes what your looking for is right under your nose. Next year we will be coming back to Silver City New Mexico for the winter months.

May til October Cheyenne Crossing, the other half of the year in Silver City New Mexico. Not bad. Starting next year I will have a pop up studio shop at Vicki's Eatery in Silver City during the winter months. More about that later.

This next summer is going to be a big one in the Black Hills. I've been busy making as much beautiful inventory as I can to be ready. The 80th Anniversary of the Black Hills Rally, The Sun Dance just north of my shop, The Black Hills Mountain Man Rendezvous will be a tri state celebration this summer as well. Along with all the other great events happening all through the hills.

I'm looking forward to seeing my South Dakota family! We will head north around the middle of April, that is if the weather cooperates.

Last summer I introduced a new line of leather garments. It was a great success. This winter I'm busy creating a whole new line. I love working with leather, the smell , the feel. Its been a challenge, learning how to create patterns, working with the leather.

I'm still hand stitching everything. Even though it would be faster and easier to sew with a machine I actually really enjoy the process of hand stitching. It becomes a meditation. Every stitch I think about the animal who's hide I'm using. I send gratitude to it and also positive energy to the person who ends up with the piece.

I've been experimenting with old denim jackets as well. There is just not enough time in the day to do everything I want to do! Stop sleeping I guess.


This winter we have done a lot of boondocking so Wifi has been scarce. When we do have reception my guilty pleasure is watching Youtube videos........ Here are a few I really enjoy.

. .......And now for something completely different, I am somewhat of a foodie. I love to cook and of course eat... I found these videos from Almazan Kitchen. I believe they are from Spain. I'm not sure. I love everything about these videos.
