Bella Blue Botanicals

I have always been fascinated by plant medicine. I started exploring the plant world many years ago. It started with looking into the food I eat and products I use on and in my body, with the thinking that I could make myself healthier. I already knew about pesticides and all the other awful things that are in our food and water. What I didn't know was that body products also had an array of horrible ingredients. It set me on a path to make my own whenever possible. I found that by lots of study, listening to my inner voice and the whisperings of the ancestors I could tap into this ancient wisdom..

By using herbs the way they were meant to be used , eating right, exercise , getting enough sleep, meditation and drinking lots of water your body will reward you with a long healthy life. As Hippocrates said “ Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food”. I think that is good for inside and outside the body.

Our body balm is made with organic cocoa butter, virgin coconut oil, organic shea butter, organic jojoba oil, meadowfoam oil, vitamin E, frankincense essential oil, lavender essential oil, carrot seed oil, sandalwood essential oil, clary sage essential Oil and rose geranium essential oil. This mixture is whipped until light and wonderfully soft. Especially good for aging or damaged skin.

~Cocoa Butter ~ Powerful anti inflammatory, antioxidant, helps with fighting off free radicals, a major cause of skin cancer and aging. Rich in fatty acids, a great moisturizer

~Shea Butter ~ Reduces inflammation while protecting and moisturizing your skin..Shea butter also helps aid in the skin's collagen production. Which is why it is so great for aging or damaged skin.

Spring is here in the Black Hills! The snow is gone and everything is greening up beautifully. I've been scouting out foraging spots on my hikes. Poor Andy, making him eat all kinds of weird things I find on my walks.....

There is something so amazing about finding your own food that is not only tasty but good for you as well! I'm understanding more and more why the Black Hills are so sacred. Every where you look there is food and medicine.

In between hiking and enjoying life I've been starting to work in the studio. It took me awhile to find my mountain legs. I'm back into the swing of things now.

This life I live is so wonderful. All those years of traveling art show to art show. Trying to keep up with inventory. It wasn't all that conducive to my creative flow. With the blessing of Cheyenne Crossing I now have the time to make whatever I want, and I do!

For instance , witch bells! Hang them on your door to invite good spirits into your home.

Guard my home, bells on the door, let only blessings walk on this floor, block all evil and the dark arts, may only good approach our hearts.

Be sure to check out my shop on www.ginnywolfstudio.com. I will be loading it up with all kinds of new work as the summer progresses. There is no telling what I will come up with this year! You can also come see me in the Black Hills. Im open at Cheyenne Crossing every day but Tuesday. Come up and have some good food and go shopping! Or if your in Deadwood be sure to stop at Scott Jacobs Gallery on Main street. Its a beautiful gallery and I am honored to be a part of it.

I leave you with this great find. Grace Slicks, White Rabbit. Its just her vocals. She is such an amazing artist! Enjoy!

I just discovered this beautiful woman. Molly Roberts. I've been binge watching her videos lately. Here is one of my favorites. " The World Needs Witches"

That's it for this post my friends. I am still saying my prayers every morning. Sending you all love and good things in these troubled times.
