With a heavy heart I am letting everyone know that I will not be opening up shop again. All of my options have fallen through. With the prices of retail space rent here there is no way I can afford a place on my own. Ive tried being a part of an established business but realize now that by doing that I have no control over my own situation.
This is a very hard decision. I have been hoping and praying that something would come about but with no luck. I feel that I have let all the people who believe in me down. Talent just isnt enough.
So whats next? I will try to find a job first. Something part time , maybe in a kitchen. I love to cook. I will continue to show my work at Saloon # 10 Merchantile in Deadwood and also Jewel of the West in Hill City as well as my website shop. Who knows maybe something will come about later.
I will still create. No one can take that away from me. I've always wanted to learn how to paint so will start there. I want to thank all of the amazing people I have met thru the years. You have become friends and I will always love the bunch of you!
