I had this whole post figured out this morning. Started to write and realized half way through that I was not being authentic. This is something that has always been important to me. Being Authentic. So here it is.
The Edge...There is no honest way to explain it because the only people who really know where it is are the ones who have gone over. The others-the living-are those who pushed their control as far as they felt they could handle it, and then pulled back, or slowed down, or did whatever they had to when it came time to choose between Now and Later. Being on the edge. Im sure a lot of you have gone over the edge at least once in your life. I know the edge really well. Dancing on that edge is something I have done a time or two.
These times we are in are extraordinary. They are not for the meek or light hearted. Its a time to be real, authentic. In every way. Its time to grab life by the huevos and live.
A lot of people enjoy being dead. But they are not dead, really. They're just backing away from life. Reach out. Take a chance. Get hurt even. But play as well as you can. Go team, go! My brain seems to be here and there and everywhere these days. I guess thats one of the perks of being an artist. Its almost expected.... I focus when I create any other time.... it goes where it goes.
