Some places have more magic than other, ruins, woods, bogs and lonely beaches. Places unworn by events cling to the past, when great magics were in the air. ~ L. Warren Douglas
What is Magic? What’s the difference between a prayer and a spell or incantation? God or Goddess, church or forest? A talisman or a cross. Who makes the rules and why are they made?
If you stop believing in the Gods do they still exist? If you are a devout Christian or devout atheist don’t they both require a blind faith? I don’t say these things to be disrespectful so apologize if I offend.
I have been an artist and creator of things my whole life and believe it has always been my way to God. My communication or connection with the creator. For me it is all the same thing. My faith and creativity are linked in a way where one wouldn’t work without the other.
Magic for me is when I'm listening to live music and they get into that groove. That place where space and time combine and the world just is.Your eyes tear up and you get that great feeling in your heart and a huge smile on your face!
It’s the sound my grand daughter makes when she's excited about something she's learned. That over the top excitement when everything in the world is new.
Its the same look Bella gets when she chases the ravens on our morning walk and they chase her. She looks at me like "DID YOU SEE THAT!!!!! WASN'T THAT GREAT!!!!
Its that sweet spot when I've been working in the studio for hours and it feels like everything is coming together perfectly. There is harmony in those moments and most definitely magic!
There is a point where jewelry and talismans are one. Where prayers and spells come together and all of the gods are pleased because the labels are gone and all that is left is beauty.
And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.~ Roald Dahl
May Odin give you knowledge on your path,
May Thor grant you strength and courage on your way,
And may Loki give you laughter as you go.
