Some hats can only be worn if you're willing to be jaunty, to set them at an angle and to walk beneath them with a spring in your stride as if you're only a step away from dancing. They demand a lot of you. ~ Neil Giaman

Thank you Martin Wozniak for this great photo! I met Martin this past summer and created this hat band for his favorite hat.

I have had a love affair with hats for as long as I can remember. I was a shy child and prone to fantasy and daydreams. Hats were a way to become someone else. Someone with confidence that could conquer the world!

You can be anyone you want wearing the right hat!

I love to see people find the right hat for them. Its a magical moment when this old hat that has been forgotten is brought back to life and loved,

Several years ago I was at a pow wow in California, There was a guy there who had a table full of old hats. All dusty and wonderful. He made hat bands for them, I never forgot that guy. I bought one of his hats that day. A great little fedora with a hat band made of old liberty head coins and silver buttons. When I put it on I felt like I was ready for anything.

I wear my hat as I please, indoors or out. ~ Walt Whitman

Some of the hats I carry are old, 1950's and older, some are vintage. I get them from thrift shops, ebay, sometimes people give them to me. They come to me dusty and dirty, forgotten and unloved. I clean them, reshape them, give them a new look. Then I wait til the right person comes along.

It makes my heart happy when the stars align and hat meets person! Yes I know Im weird. And your point?

I have several great hats in stock right now and they are all on the shop at www.ginnywolfstudio.com. I even have adjustable hat bands available for your favorite hat.

I'm in a great space creatively these days. Jewelry, hats and the latest.... Leather. I've been messing around with leather making bracelets, hatbands, chokers. Mostly getting familar with the medium. My ultimate goal is to make motorcycle accessories, handbags and maybe even leather clothing! No rest for the wicked!

I made this tool bag for my husband Andy's old Harley recently.

We call her the Gila Monster. 1981 Harley Davidson Shovelhead.

This bag was made for my friend Jim, We met up in Cheyenne Crossing this summer. Turned out great and just makes me want to make more! Thanks Jim!

I am listing new items on the website daily so if you have the time take a look. I'll be back on the road next month in Arizona. To see my schedule go to www.ginnywolfstudio.

Have a great week and Happy New Year!

Ill leave you with a guy who wears a hat well! Tom Waits.
